Hive is a five-set speaker system meant to be placed in various spots of the home for an immersive, surround-sound experience
Using innovative bluetooth and multipoint connection, the hive system works seamlessly once connected to your device via the mobile app. The set plays music while fully assembled and when separated in areas up to 40 ft of distance apart. Just turn it on, connect, and feel the buzz
When separated, the speakers open up to reveal storage compartments for your everyday items such as keys, wallets, jewelry, and more.

This idea was born during my freshman year as an animal-inspired product drawing, and I knew it was something I wanted to develop in my future school years.

My favorite time to listen to music is in my car, it's a completely immersive experience. In this speaker design, my goal was to replicate that encapsulating feeling in a room or home
During my sophomore year, I took this process further by creating more accurate images of the speakers with my newfound knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
This year, I was finally able to model the speakers using Shaper3D software and Autodesk Fusion.
